Since 2005, Gabriela has been enjoying the practice of yoga as a means to take care of her emotional and physical needs. She believes that quieting the mind with our breath, stretching out our physical tightness, and tapping into our inner strength can help us feel restored and re-energized.
Her teaching style is grounded in the belief that yoga is for everybody. Her classes prioritize breathing, correct alignment, self-acceptance and self-love. She encourages students to use props to help get the most out of each pose and allow the breath to work its magic.
Gabriela was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela and moved to the great state of Texas in 2001. In 2014, she completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training with Tara Martell and Heather Grisco in Phoenix, AZ. She now lives in Cedar Park with her husband, Travis, (Math teacher and soccer coach at Round Rock HS – go Dragons!) and her daughter, Eva.
Gabriela is fluent in Spanish and Italian.
