To be honest, I've fallen off of my yoga practice. Last month I had a bout of allergies, then my kids were home during the week of Thanksgiving. My body's a little achy, my mind's a little scattered. I'm so, so ready to get back into it. Tomorrow. Pinky promise.

Yesterday morning, as I guided my morning class into savasana, I could see the relaxation in their bodies. It's an incredible feeling, almost like your body feels happy, like it's thanking you for dedicating an hour to breathing and moving.
And by the end of savasana, even your mind is calm and relaxed, and while that really peaceful feeling only lasts so long, the beneficial effects of the practice are on-going and cumulative.
It's that happy body/relaxed mind feeling that keeps people coming back to yoga. So even if you (or I) fall off the yogawagon, we know we'll get back on as soon as humanly possible!

2017 Class Schedule
As I mentioned in last week's newsletter, our new schedule for January is now published! You can pick up a printed copy at the studio next time you're in. Please notice that classes are organized for consistency on MWF and TT throughout the week for your planning convenience.

Therapeutics Series (4 weeks)
Regular yoga classes are great for people who are relatively healthy and strong. But if you're currently dealing with an issue (or issues) in your body, you might get more benefit from a Therapeutics Series. Reserve your spot!
