On social media, most yoga teachers post a lot of acrobatic, gravity-defying, pretzel-like yoga poses. By comparison, my feed looks a little boring. 😉

Here’s the thing. I don’t teach that kind of yoga. My yoga is geared toward being able to do everyday regular movements with confidence and ease.

In my classes you can expect gentle, strategic stretching and strengthening to help reduce your back pain, erase the tension in your shoulders, manage your hip pain, and more. My goal is to help you make your body stronger and more flexible so that you can do the things you need to do and the things you love.

My students cite wins like being able to carry a case of water up the stairs without thinking twice, squatting and balancing with ease while cleaning out the garage, and getting down onto the floor to play with their grandkids. I love these real life wins!

Regardless of whether you’re standing on your head with your legs in lotus, standing on your feet in a gentle forward fold, or sitting on a chair and doing a side bend, you are doing yoga. You’re moving your body, you’re breathing, you’re calming your mind. It’s all yoga.

If my yoga sounds like your kind of yoga, there are many ways to practice with me, including my Yoga with Zelinda Membership and live classes! And if you’re interested in learning to teach my kind of yoga, please look into my Teacher Training program - classes start in August!
