Relaxation, Mindfulness, and More!

This week we’re excited to announce that we’re adding new classes to our weekly online schedule!

Starting on Labor Day, we’re adding Relaxation with Jan on Monday evenings, and we’re switching Angela’s Thursday evening class to Mindfulness. And since Angela’s Thursday Moderate class is going away, we’re replacing it with a Moderate class with Lk on Wednesday evenings.

Here’s our current schedule that goes into effect on Monday, September 7th:

Deep Relaxation for the Body, Mind, & Spirit Series (Online) with Angela
Thursdays, August 6 - 27, 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. CST

Daily stress can take a toll on both physical & mental health. This 4 week series utilizes guided imagery as a tool for deep relaxation. Deep relaxation can provide many benefits:

  • Decreased heart & respiration rate

  • Lowered blood pressure

  • Reduction of anxiety, depression & insomnia

  • Relaxation of muscles to release tension

  • Reduced pain (long-term illnesses, chronic conditions)

  • A sense of peace & calm

  • Improved resilience for managing stress, which is so important during these difficult times

Ayurveda for Maximizing Good Health (Online) with Zelinda
Saturday, August 8, 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. CST

Ayurveda is the sister science to yoga - it's a system of health and healing that originated in India thousands of years ago. In this workshop you’ll learn about Ayurveda’s powerful 3 Pillars of Health and how to easily integrate them into your daily routine to maximize your health and well-being. You'll experience benefits such as improved sleep, clearer mind, calmer nervous system, fresher appearance, and improved immunity.

Beginners are welcome. Please come with an open heart and mind. This is a lecture-based workshop; no yoga mat is needed. ($39)
